Joint Meeting
A joint meeting with the political parties of Kirtipur,Kirtipur municipality, Mr. Fausto De Stefani, Mr. Elio Mutti, Mr. Lila Bahadur Shahi and Rarahil Memorial School, was held on 26th Ashoj 2064 (13th Oct. 2007) at Rarahil Memorial School building. Mr. Hari Sharma Maharjan from Nepali congress, Mr. surrendra Manandhar from United Maxist Lenist, Mr. Narayan Maharjan from Nepal workers, peasant party, Mr. Panch Lal Maharjan from Maiost, Mr. Ram Krishna Maharjan from socialist movement Nepal, Mr. Shambhu Ram Maharjan from joint peoples' party, Mr. prakash Tandukar, Mr. Tulsi Dass Maharjan and Mr. Narayan Maharjan from Rarahil Memorial School and other 30 people were presented on that meeting.
Firstly, Italian citizen Mr. Fausto De Stefani started to speak about his plan and programmed toward the Kirtipur Municipality. Before it, he expressed his happiness to meet the people of political parties of Kirtipur and others. Fausto said we must win the peoples complain by showing by our work.
He wants to work in Kirtipur because Kirtipur is one of the very beautiful historical towns. Fausto expected the positive help from the political parties and people of Kirtipur to start the different projects such as environment education, health center and others. He again said, you accept our idea if it is useful to you. We never oppose to you on your circumstance.
We will not only limit in school, we have a wider plan and programmed to the Kirtipur, so please keep positive attitude towards us said the fausto. He is satisfied with the work of school especially the completion of Professional school building. Again he has a plan of making a health clinic near the school.
We want to start the work from the small later it will be big and greater said the Fausto De Stefani.
At the end Fausto said sister relation between Mantova of Italy and Kirtipur is possible. He can do it but needs help. And he gave the word to start this work as soon as possible said Fausto.
Similarly coordinator of the project Elio Mutti expressed his words that he is satisfied with the work of the school. He got opportunity to inaugurate the Professional school building. We got the right person to work in Rarahil. We have not any objections with Rarahil School. We were encouraged to work again in Rarahil and Kritipur by the successful work of professional school. Those days we were trusted by the people of Kirtipur and people of Italy. It is a positive green signal of success into the future programme said the Elio Mutti. And he has declared that they were not the representative of Montova's municipality.
Then after Mr. Narayan Maharjan of the Nepal workers and present party said, how do you work in Nepal and Italy for the project? We have a foundation in Italy name Founde Senza. It has criteria of expenses and collection of the fund to the project. We follow its rule answered by Elio Mutti.
How can you give us assurance to established the sister relation between Kirtipur and Mantova ask by the Mr. Surendra Manandhar from United Maxist Leninist. Mr. Dhruba maharjan said, Fausto and Elio are not the representative of Mantova. So it is not good to demand such kind of things in this meeting. Again Mr. Surendra Manandhar has asked the question about the role of the Rarahil School, Municipality and parties. Fausto answer that Rarahil and municipality both are independent. They handle their activities according to their policy. And parties and people of the Kirtipur will assist, advice, direction to the Municipality.
Mr. Panch Lal Maharjan from Maiost said they are ready to support fully to plan and programme of the new coming projects of Italy through Fausto De Stefani. India, American have own their interest to help but we did not find such interest with Fausto De Stefani.
Mr. Hari Sharna Maharjan from Nepali Congress said we are grateful to meet Fausto De Stefani and other Italian people. Since long time we were searching such kind of donors to develop our Kirtipur. Today we got Fausto. We positively support to this project.
At the end the Mr. Ram Lal Shrestha a main person of the Municipality has welcome the Fausto De Stefani, Elio Mutti, and others.
He showed the interest to established the sister relation between Kirtipur Municipality and Mantova city of Italy. Again he has explained the different problems of Kirtipur Municipality.
On the meeting Mr. Lila Bahadur Shahi played the role as a mediator to make the meeting fruitful and easy to understand each other by translating the language. He was one of the school's closed friend as well as initiator of build the relationship between Rarahil and Italy.
